For over four decades, the Walnut Creek Art & Wine Festival has been a beloved tradition, drawing a diverse and loyal audience. This annual event welcomes more than 40,000 attendees from across the Bay Area.

Explore arts and crafts, browse commercial vendor booths, savor delicious festival foods, and enjoy an impressive selection of wines and craft beers. With continuous live music, engaging children’s activities, and a vibrant atmosphere, the festival offers something for everyone.

This year’s event will move six miles into the heart of downtown to Civic Park. Free parking is available at the Walnut Creek and Pleasant Hill BART stations, from which a complimentary shuttle will transport you to the park.

The agriculture field is very broad, and is not limited to farming. It includes a variety of fields such as animal sciences, biotechnology, food science, sustainable agriculture, viticulture, and wildlife conservation. A list of possible fields is included on the website. Scholarships can be applied for year round. Funds are paid directly to the University for educational expenses such as books, tuition, registration, fees, supplies, and room and board.

band WAR kicking off the festivities on opening night. Other standout acts include Sugar Ray, Air Supply, Gym Class Heroes and Tower of Power, with concerts held nightly at 8pm, except on July 4.

Beyond the music, the fair offers heart-pounding Action Sports shows and the ever-popular All Alaskan Racing Pigs, delighting audiences of all ages. Select evenings are capped off with a mesmerizing drone show at 9:30pm over the Michelob Ultra Grandstand, with spectacular fireworks lighting up the sky on Friday, June 13 and Thursday, July 3. The Alameda County Fair is the ultimate summer destination for family fun.

U.S. Army’s 250th Birthday Celebration
